Decoding the immune response to successful influenza vaccination

Dr Brian Kidd, of the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai NY has published a new research report in the Nature.

The article considers adaptive and innate immunity and the influenza virus, and advances that systems immunology identifies molecular and cellular signatures associated with adverse clinical events and antibody response to a vaccine against H1N1 influenza virus.
